Hi my friends! It’s about that time again!
I visited Slate Med Spa for Botox about 8 months ago, and as you guys know, Botox is a treatment that needs to be maintained every couple of months to achieve the best results. The length of the results varies from person to person, but usually lasts anywhere between 6-8 months. The best part about maintaining the treatment is that you keep that youthful look for longer!
I visited Dr. Raquel and like always, the results were amazing! Now that I am in my 30s, I’m really happy I started with Botox treatment in my mid 20s because it has kept my skin from showing any signs of aging and has kept any deep wrinkles at bay. I usually only target my forehead lines,in between my brows and sides of my eyes, always aiming for a natural look.
1 year update: I went back to Slate MedSpa for a touchup and the results were incredible! This time around, I had an appointment with a newly added nurse practitioner/Dr. Grace, and she was amazing. We had a short consultation at the beginning to help her identify my areas of concern and talk a little but more about the look I was looking to achieve. My goal is to prevent any wrinkles to set causing a deep line so she offered her recommendations and we started with the process. It look her a couple of minutes and it wasn’t painful at all. After the procedure was done, she explained the follow up process and what are some things I need to stay away from following the injections. It took a couple of days to see the full results and I had minimal bruising. Overall, the experience was excellent!
