HUGE ULTA HAUL- YAY!! So excited to finally share this post because some of these products are now part of my daily routine. Literally HG products! You guys know I love to share when I find a good product and some of these are REALLY GOOD!
I went to Ulta a couple of weeks ago (before this craziness started) looking for 1 THING- which was the ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM– and walked out with more than 10 more items! lol! Does that ever happen to you guys?
Anyways… let’s get started.
HAIR CARE
DRYBAR DETOX BRUNETTE DRY SHAMPOO– Where has this been all my life? This stuff leaves NO residue which is SUPER important! It is a little pricey but OH SO worth it especially if you are a brunette and you struggle with white residue.
DRYBAR HOTTY TODDY HEAT PROTECTING SPRAY– I love the smell of this product and that it doesn’t require a dry time before styling my hair. I can literally spray and start styling right away. Time saver for sure!
DRYBAR SPARKLING SODA SHINE MIST– This is a MUST HAVE! Prior to this mist, I used a serum (here) that I love however, I found that sometimes it would weigh my hair down. This stuff leaves my hair looking super shiny without weighing it down or leaving any of that sticky feeling.
FEKKAI BLOWOUT MIST– i’ve talked about this before, it’s one of those products I’ve been using for a long time. I usually use this on the 2nd or 3rd day. I wouldn’t recommend it if your hair is super greasy because it doesn’t absorb as well as other products I’ve tried.
BUMBLE & BUMBLE DRY SPUN MIST– This is another HG product for me. I’ve been using this stuff for years! My curls last SO much longer when I use this stuff- it’s amazing! It’s pricey therefore I only use it when I really want my hair to last.
INVISI BOBBLE HAIR RING – Another MUST HAVE for me! I’ve been obsessed with these hair rings ever since I saw them at target years ago. I use them on my girls, when I go to the gym, at night time….literally all the time! I love that my curls stay when I use this to tie my hair at night.
IT’S A 10 MIRACLE SILK SMOOTHING BALM– I stopped using this because I wanted to try another product that had tons of great reviews…and let me just say, that was a big NO NO. I had to go back to this balm! This product makes the blow drying part so easy and leaves my hair super smooth.
BABY BLISS PRO x CONAIR DUAL SHIELD DENT-FREE CLIPS– Never really thought I needed these clips until I started using them! LOL! If you have thin hair this is perfect for you! They are amazing and won’t dent your hair.
MAKEUP
BARE MINERALS ORIGINAL FOUNDATION– My go-to foundation for the last couple of weeks! This stuff leaves my skin looking flawless. I love that the coverage is buildable so I can use it on my “no make-up” make up days and also on my more glam days.
LOREAL PARADISE MASCARA– I stopped getting eyelash extensions a couple of months ago because i was getting a bad allergic reaction from the glue. Since I got them removed I started using this mascara and I’m obsessed! Nothing compared to lash extensions (obviously) but they look alot longer and fuller.
ELF PORELESS PUTTY PRIMER – A lot of people compare this primer to the high end Tatcha primer ( here) so I was super excited to try it. My pores are not as visible when I use this primer but I can still see them there. It’s not the best primer but it’s pretty good for the price.
ELF MATTE PUTTY PRIMER– I bought this one because the poreless primer didn’t keep my skin matte and I noticed my skin would start looking oily after a couple of hours. I’m not sure I can say this primer is the right one for me because I still get oily so ehhh…still not convinced.
TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION– The wide range of shades they have available for this foundation is incredible! They really did amazing with this product. I love the finish of this product because it looks sooo natural. It’s one of my current favs!
IT COSMETICS BYE BYE FOUNDATION MATTE- OK the truth is…I wanted to love it but it didn’t work for me. I’ve used some of their other products like their CC and BB cream and I LOVED those but this one was a BIG NO. It might be good if your skin is extremely oily but it made me look very dry.
NUDESTIX SUNKISSED NUDES KIT– I LOVE THESE COLORS! It’s perfect for on the go or if you’re traveling. You get 3 different products, an eyelid crayon, a lip and cheek color and a lipstick! They are super creamy and pigmented.
REVOLUTION PRO VOLUME AND SCULPTING BROW GEL– This brow gel is a GAME CHANGER! Doing my eyebrows is a breeze thanks to this product!
ELF HYDRATING CAMO CONCEALER– One of my favorite concealers right now! So affordable and the color range is pretty good. Definitely a must try!
SKIN CARE
THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1%– There’s so many good reviews on this skin care line so I decided to try it. This product is supposed to help with breakouts and dark spots. I’m not sure if this is helping with my breakout scars but my skin is looking a lot better!
ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM- I’ve raved about this for some time now. If you haven’t tried this, I totally recommend it! It the BEST cleansing balm I’ve used- & I can say I’ve used a couple. However, it is a little bit pricey so, I would suggest trying out the travel size (here) first to see if you really like it.
FLAWLESS PRO HAIR REMOVER– Ehhh…not sure how I feel about this beauty tool yet. It’s not as effective as I thought it would be- at least for me. I wanted to use this mainly on my upper lip but after using it I noticed that it didn’t really remove everything like it claimed to so, I would not recommend it. I’ll be sticking to waxing from now on.
