Hello my dear friends! My days are finally starting to fall back into place!! I always find it difficult to get back into the rhythm of things once the holidays are over. It takes me some time to organize myself again and get back to my normal schedule…but we are getting there! Talking about holidays…I haven’t removed any of my decorations yet and I don’t think I’m quite ready to do so. I’ve made a couple of trips to Sephora and Ulta in the last couple of weeks and found some amazing products! Some I have used in the past and re discovered and some are new. Since both stores had coupons during the holidays, I had to make sure to grab some new items I’ve been eying for a while! So, without further due let’s get started!
SKIN CARE
ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN ROSE CLEANSING BALM – I’ve been OBSESSED with this product! It literally removes EVERYTHING and smells so fresh and minty. I bought the small travel size of the DEEP cleansing balm which was $14 and quickly realized I needed the full-size. I found the travel size in ROSE, so I had to try it to see the difference between the two & to be honest, I love both!
TULA ACNE CLEARING + TONE CORRECTING GEL – I don’t know why or if it’s something I’m doing that’s aggravating my skin, but it looks terrible and I’m starting to freak out a little bit. After doing some research, I went with this product because it has the highest percentage of salicylic acid allowed and it’s a clean product (something I’m starting to look for in skin care). There’s a lot of good reviews for this product so it sounds promising!
SUNDAY RILEY GOOD GENES SERUM – Hubby did so good this Christmas! Aside from my new MAC book Pro, he gifted me a bottle of this magical serum. I’ve been using this stuff for years and I love it! My skin texture has improved soo much after using this product! I was actually running out of the one I had and told him how sad I was because this stuff is EXPENSIVE. I don’t recall him being too interested though! LOL! But I guess he was listening because he surprised me with this on Christmas morning.
BIOSSANCE SQUALANE + PHOTO-RETINOL SERUM – This product was recommended by a SA at Sephora a couple of months ago. It’s supposed to have a plant derived retinol which helps with moisture and fight any aging signs, which I totally need! It also promises a smoother and firmer look after the first week of use, so we shall see! (Crossing my fingers!)
LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK – I ran out of the lip mask I was using so I decided to change to this and get the full size instead. Every year, around the colder months my lips get dry and start to peel easily so a lip mask is a MUST for me.
MAKE-UP
KYLIE COSMETICS LIP DUO- I know it’s crazy but this is the first time I try a lip product from Kylie cosmetics. I know I’m somewhat late to the party, but I never thought I needed them. While I was waiting in line to pay at Ulta, I saw this cute mini lip duo, the colors looked like my type of colors so I went for it. They are also tiny enough to fit anywhere! This was $12 for 2 colors- Candy K and Charm which I thought was pretty good. Candy K is my favorite out of the 2 because is more of a pinkish nude color I usually go for.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY LIPSTICK IN SHADE ‘ KIM K.W. – I absolutely love her products! They are pricey but oh so worth it! My all-time favorite lip liner is in the shade Iconic Nude and I literally use it every day! Unless I’m not wearing any make-up. I wanted to find a lipstick a couple of shades lighter for that perfect lip combo, so I went with the shade Kim K.W. It’s the perfect pinky beige color and the satin finish is gorgeous!
HAIR & PERFUME
WELLA INVIGO BRILLIANCE HAIR MASK – I ended up going to 2 different ULTA locations looking for my favorite hair mask which is this one and had no luck. Being the person that “needs” to walk out of the store with something that I am, I decided to go with this one. It claims to replenish damaged hair, leaving your hair silky and shiny. It does smell pretty good and looks like it has a thick consistency which is always a plus.
PHARMACIA ROSE EPICEE EAU PARFUM – I found this gem at Anthropology and I’m so happy I did! Well not just me, my girls love this stuff as well. It’s a super light and sweet scent which is one my favorites. A little goes a long way and the smell lasts all day long! My other favorites are this one and this one.

Every time I see those lip masks I think of getting them. I might do so. And yes I still have Christmas decorations up as well. Lol!
